Sick daze

Mike and I stayed home from racing today....we're a little under the weather!

One of the benefits of being sick, is COMFORT food. Mike just got back from the grocery store w/....strawberries, a can of whipped cream, a pint of Ben and Jerry's, a huge frosted brownie, 2 cream puffs, and an M&M cookie! I knew I married him for a reason!

Here's me on my favorite cruser EVER! In Copenhagen.

more Vacation pictures!

We were able to spend an evening and morning with Kristina on our way home. Can you tell it's the last day, early in the morning? I wonder if we will get charged extra for those bags on check in?
Mike and his sis!
In Copenhagen, there was a little ice rink in the center of the city...and I touched it w/ my toe!!
Mom and I in Nyhavn (old harbor that now is a quaint shopping area now)
Posers!!!
Ohwee, enjoying a Danish in Denmark...and WOW it was SO much better than what we have in the states....
This is Copenhagen City Hall where Kristina and Vala got married this January!! I'm so happy for them both!

Hey mister, your missing something!
Mike and his favorite animals....
yet another us shot....at Mike's uncle's house....

Here we are enjoying a Kebab at a restaurant in Vaxjo, right after we visited the Sweden Immigrants museum (which gave information about Swedes who left Sweden to go to the US), and before we went to the Kosta glass factory.
From the left we have Jan-Olof (uncle), KKBB, Martin (cousin), Buggins, Kirstin (aunt), Molly (Mom)
Kirstin served a wonderful smoked salmon for dinner! Mom digs in!! And yes, that's the head.
Mom enjoyed the Moose farm too!

Grandmother and us. She made Christmas dinner for us since we missed it this year. That's Lutefisk (spelled?), and Rice Pudding...some of my favorites!!
That white stuff is the Lutefisk. Known for it's preparation in Lye as a preservative. It sounds SO much worse than it is! I had SECONDS....
Then after ~1hr of shopping we returned to Grandmothers for MORE cakes...this time cream cakes, coffee, and yes she made all those different
cookies on the tray.
What a great trip!
