Here we are pre warm up...just sittin' in the road...What? We paid the meter!!
Look, it's Kevin Bacon...naw, that's John Coleman...the infamous mechanic/director/hottie/married/all around great guy that's making this race SO much better w/ tons and tons of work (on his part, for OUR benefit...w/ ZERO complaints)..I swear this is the ONLY time he's sat down all week!
We started the usual warm-up, note the rain...and that's why we are centimeters apart...but wait, it get's MUCH better
Yea, that's right...STORMORAMA...my bike's the smart one...'Get down!' she's yelling to the others...
Now add HAIL...and we've got a good ol' midwestern STORM...hmmm, reminds me of last year's Mankato race...
Jane thinks it would be fun to get a picture in this huge typhoon...until she get's out there and realizes "Ouch, oh, ouch, hurry up Kele, this HURTS!"...thank god she had that helmet on!
The streets quickly filled w/ water...and this corner is on the course...but we still have 45min to start!
